Studies now find that the United States is no longer the land of opportunity -- if you're born poor in America, you're more likely to stay poor than in Denmark, the Netherlands, or France. It appears that the agenda of the Republicans to turn the United States into Mexico with better roads, complete with large illiterate peasant class and tiny but filthy rich elite class, is well underway.
