There is also a poster of Teachers and Students. I've seen it also with Republicans and Democrats (in both positions).

In truth, these are constructed usually with a false wall on the first floor. The first floor seat is more forward than the one upstairs, and the wall keeps them separated. Hopefully it is a well-sealed wall. This type of privy was very commonly attached to two story inns with a veranda/balcony going around the outside of the building. I'll stop there. I can be very annoying about plumbing history.
